Meeting of the Ethics Councils of Germany, Austria and Switzerland

On 15 December 2017, representatives of the ethics councils of Austria, Switzerland and Germany will meet for consultations in Berlin at the invitation of the German Ethics Council. Following a perennial tradition, the German Ethics Council wishes to discuss current developments in the field of bioethics in dialogue with the guests from Austria and Switzerland. The meeting focuses on the topic of big data and health. The debate will be based on the German Ethics Council’s recently published Opinion “Big Data and Health – Data Sovereignty as the Shaping of Informational Freedom”.
