People who are living in homes for the elderly or disabled are at particular risk of falling into social isolation during the Covid-19 pandemic. In this Ad hoc Recommendation, the German Ethics Council proposes measures to ensure a minimum level of social contact for people permanently dependent on care, despite the current need for infection control measures.
