Zum Thema

Am 18. und 19. November 2020 luden die Europäische Kommission und der Deutsche Ethikrat zum 26. Forum Nationaler Ethikräte (NEC-Forum) und der Europäischen Gruppe für Ethik der Naturwissenschaften und der Neuen Technologien (EGE) ein. Die Veranstaltung fand als nicht-öffentliche Online-Konferenz statt.

Das diesjährige Forum widmete sich insbesondere ethischen Fragen im Zusammenhang mit den Themen Künstliche Intelligenz, Keimbahnintervention und Umgang mit der Corona-Pandemie.

Im Rahmen des Treffens fand ein Forum Bioethik zur Frage der Impfstoffverteilung im Zusammenhang mit der Corona-Pandemie statt. Ausnahmsweise wurden die Vorträge des Forum Bioethik in englischer Sprache gehalten. Die Veranstaltung wurde ins Deutsche simultan übersetzt.
